Property Management Trainee

Katie Olsen is a young, energetic, and highly motivated Property Management Trainee currently working with Affinity Property Australia. With a strong passion for real estate and a keen interest in developing her skills, Katie has already completed a Certificate III in Business and is now progressing toward her Certificate IV in Real Estate Services. Her educational background, combined with her practical experience, gives her a solid foundation for a successful career in the industry.

Working closely with senior staff members, Katie regularly attends properties to carry out routine inspections, Entry Condition Reports, and general Condition Reports. She also plays an active role in managing maintenance requests and work orders, ensuring that tenants’ needs are met promptly and that properties are kept in excellent condition.

Katie brings a wealth of customer service experience to her role, having spent several years working in the retail sector. During this time, she developed strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of how to connect with people and provide high-quality service—skills that are now invaluable in her real estate career. She is passionate about learning, eager to grow in her role, and committed to supporting both her colleagues and clients with professionalism and care.

Highly organised and efficient, Katie takes pride in her ability to manage her time effectively. Her reliability and positive attitude make her a valuable asset to the Affinity Property team.

Outside of her professional life, Katie enjoys a vibrant social life and often fills her calendar with events and catch-ups with friends and family. She has a green thumb and finds joy in gardening. Additionally, she has a creative side and enjoys sewing—having already crafted pillow covers and aprons. Her beloved pets also keep her busy and bring her plenty of happiness in her downtime.
